Provides professional academy experience for young players who join their others from around the globe for a 10-day residential development camp in the UK hosted by Southampton FC. Players are coached the “Southampton Way” using modern training methodologies. They will gain an insight into lifestyle management, nutrition, formations, transitional play, and phases of play. They will immerse themselves in whole academy experience and then benchmarked against Academy players of similar ages.

They will experience the intensity of a one-day tournament as well as play matches against opposition appropriate to their ability level, such as SFC academy and other professional academies, SFC community teams, and other visiting teams. Students pay a core cost to attend. VISAs are processed including return flight ticket. An adult is required to accompany the students as chaperones on a 1:10 ratio.

Southampton FC offer a blended learning course for young people & adults who have an interest in player & coach development pathways. It comprises a blended programme for coaches, tutors, industry professionals and officials to gain accredited sports industry leadership and management qualifications awarded by Solent University, England in partnership with Southampton FC.

Candidates undertaking a coaching course also gain access to practical masterclass clinics and workshops delivered locally in Nigeria by Southampton FC during its annual visit. Candidates may choose to attend a short leadership or management course such as the (Certificate in Professional Sport. Management and Administration. (Football) (CPSMA) Project Management, Business, Marketing and Finance) in the UK hosted by Solent University, with access to real-world industry experience at the club as part of the curriculum, including professional coaching and development from the club,

A scheme providing opportunities for students to pursue post-16 A-level education in the UK at some of the most prestigious Boarding schools. Students combine daily football with education at Key stage 3, GCSE A level and University Foundation Programmes. They will play competitive fixtures with schools, colleges, and professional clubs. Exceptionally gifted and talented players can also develop their professional football career with Southampton FC, Coventry FC or Charlton FC through an Elite U23 professional Football Programme. This opportunity is also open to those who wish to study independently in the UK, with a pathway to degree programmes with Solent University Southampton and the University of Greenwich.
